	Captain Warren, in addition to being a noted marine photographer and historian, was also an author of maritime books and publications. His 1979 book SW1/4W, a Short History of Transportation on Narragansett Bay and Its Environs, is being considered for an additional printing in 1997.      These photographs are the property of the Seamen's Church Institute and may not be used elsewhere without permission.
